ProbeMaster® Lyo: universal line of lyophilized mixes for PCR and real-time PCR from Lumiprobe

The ProbeMaster® Lyo series from Lumiprobe is a line of ready-to-use lyophilized mixes for PCR and real-time PCR. We created them to make DNA amplification as convenient as possible: the mixes do not require freezing, store well at room temperature, and allow you to quickly start the reaction by simply adding water, oligonucleotides, and the sample.

  • Easy to use — Ready-made mix reduces reaction setup time and lowers the risk of contamination.
  • Convenient storage — Reconstituted mix is stable for 30 days when stored at 4 °C and withstands up to 5 freeze/thaw cycles.
  • Optimized lyophilization — Each lyophilized pellet, after dissolution, is sufficient for 100 reactions of 25 µL volume.
  • Hot‑start technology — Use of antibody‑dependent HS Taq polymerase eliminates nonspecific reactions and primer‑dimer formation, ensuring high purity and specificity.
  • Additional activity — The polymerase possesses 5’→3′ exonuclease and terminal transferase activity, enabling real‑time PCR with TaqMan probes as well as TA cloning of PCR products.

ProbeMaster® Lyo GEL UDG — mix for PCR with gel electrophoresis and UDG/dUTP system Standard PCR with contamination control when false‑positive results must be prevented, especially when using gel electrophoresis and frequently amplifying the same fragments
